JOB SUMMARY

Due to expanding our busy reception department we have an exciting opportunity at Riverside Health Partnership for a Medical Receptionist/Care Navigator to join our team!
Riverside is a 4-site surgery caring for over 23’000 patient’s, we are based in Retford, Harworth, Misterton & Gringley-On-The-Hill, successful candidates are expected to work across all sites, therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
The Receptionist/Care Navigator plays a crucial role in supporting patients through their healthcare journey. This position involves coordinating care, providing guidance, and ensuring that patients receive the necessary resources and support to manage their health effectively. The Receptionist/Care Navigator will work closely with healthcare providers, patients, and their families to facilitate communication and streamline access to services.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role is desirable.
  • Good customer service skills are essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • A compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on empathy and understanding.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems or experience in a clinical environment is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
    This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about improving patient experiences and have a keen interest in navigating the complexities of healthcare delivery.
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: £12.21-£12.60 per hour
