Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office address: 5997 Goldenrod Road; Orlando, FL 32812 Medical Receptionist Role Overview: The Medical Receptionist operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs. Takes and distributes accurate messages. Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee. Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organization's location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and/or email address. Additional responsibilities may include miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation. Use your skills to make an impact Additional Information: Required Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED • 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette • Team player with a positive attitude • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Attention to detail and highly organized • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) • Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records) Preferred Qualifications: • Value-based care model experience • Knowledge of Medical Terminology • Bilingual in English and Spanish Medical Receptionist Working hours: Scheduled 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM Local travel may be required; Mileage is reimbursed This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $38,000 - $45,800 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
