Cowfold Medical Group are seeking One or Two part time, confident, dynamic Medical Receptionists to support our busy Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors in line with Practice guidelines.
We are seeking set shift cover for several shifts a week, Monday to Friday. Currently we have vacancies for shifts patterns of 8.00am -1.30pm,1.30pm to 6.30pm.
Salary shown is actual and dependant of total number of hours / shifts employed.
We do require all staff to have the ability to help cover additional shifts, sometimes at short notice, to cover colleague leave and sickness.
Please note these are set shift requirements in a very busy environment. A confident self-starter is a must. This is a very rewarding role in an established team.

Responsibilities

This is a busy role and as such you will be required to communicate effectively both face to face and via the telephone. You will be an adaptable self-starter who can confidently follow processes in a multi-tasking environment.
The role requires you to perform diary management tasks whilst performing strict triage processes set by clinicians to ensure the wellbeing of patients at all times. You will have the ability to complete internal and external messaging and email processes on specialist clinical systems. To communicate with a vast array of professional and external services. To be able to effectively deal with patient queries regarding medications, illness, processes and appointment management, face to face or via the telephone.
You will be a problem solver, computer literate and have confident telephone skills. Experience of working with the general public and IT skills are beneficial.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10,639.00-£21,621.00 per year
