Our Core Values are: Grow Together Seize Opportunity from Struggle Outcome Over Ego Commitment to Serve Do The Right Thing What your responsibilities will be as a Medical Receptionist: • Collect patient demographics • Understand, obtain and document information from insurance companies • Distribute forms and paperwork • Schedule patient appointments • Proper entry of data into our records and billing systems. Accuracy is essential to system relia-bility and overall business success. • Prepare and handle clerical office duties such as, office ordering, scanning, shredding, faxes • Answers calls and follows with appropriate documentation and follow through • Maintains workspace and the facility in a clean and organized manner • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills • Pre-register patients to ensure a smooth flow of patients throughout the day • Collection of copays, outstanding balances, collections and daily reconciliation of funds collect-ed • Ensures accurate maintenance of credit card information on file to support timely billing and the success of the company. • Must be willing to rotate if needed to other Dermatology Partners’ sites within the designated cluster • Demonstrates strong problem solving-skills and reaches out to the appropriate team members • Consistently meets accuracy benchmarks and quality standards • Others duties as deemed necessary Requirements What we look for: · Excellent written and verbal communication · Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment · Clean and presentable appearance · Team focused and is able to follow detailed instructions carefully with limited oversight · Organized, punctual and professional · Eager to grow and to learn with the company · Fluency in computer systems and a variety of software packages · Problem solving skills · Dedicated to patients and personable customer service · Passionate about the field of Dermatology **May be required to assist in local clinics if needed** **Salary range of $16.00-$17.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)**
