JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical or dental office environment. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and basic office equipment (computers, printers).
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus.

  • Maintain organized and accurate electronic medical records.
  • Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure proper billing procedures.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient flow and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist in other front desk duties as needed to support the overall operations of the office.
