Join a Busy, Supportive Urgent Care Team Looking for a role where no two days are the same and your work truly makes a difference?   Urgent Care Franklin is a trusted provider of high-quality healthcare to the Pukekohe community, and we’re looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with an anticipated start around August 2026. About the Role As the first point of contact, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the patient experience. You’ll be the friendly face and calm presence that keeps the front desk running smoothly, even during busy periods. Your shifts will be rostered between 8:00am and 8:00pm, averaging 31 hours per week. You’ll enjoy a mix of early and later shifts, offering flexibility across your week, a refreshing change from the traditional 9am–5pm routine.   What You’ll Be Doing * Welcome and register patients with warmth and professionalism * Manage phone enquiries and appointment bookings * Maintain accurate patient records and data entry * Handle payments and patient accounts * Provide administrative support to clinicians * Keep reception running efficiently in a fast-paced environment   About You You’ll thrive in this role if you are: * Experienced in reception or administration (medical experience is a bonus but not essential)  * Passionate about delivering excellent customer service * Calm, organised, and able to multitask  * Confident using computer systems and handling sensitive information * Flexible and reliable, with availability for evening shifts   Why join Urgent Care Franklin?   We’re a team that looks out for each other.
