We are a naturopathic and functional medicine private practice in Encinitas working with people from 25-70 years of age. We do consultations, IV therapy, regenerative medicine joint injections, etc. We are looking for someone to be our front desk point of contact and assistant our doctors by handling scheduling, billing, check in and out patients, fulfilling supplement orders etc. We are a cash pay practice so none of the headaches of dealing with insurance.
We are active on social media and have a social media marketing team (not in office) we want you to also work with to obtain some content on your down time.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, both in person and over the phone
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Handle patient inquiries, provide information, and address concerns or complaints
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Fluent with social media, specifically instagram.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Proficient in using phone systems, scheduling software, and electronic medical records systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented approach to patient service
