Medical Receptionist - Diagnostic Imaging Clinic (Greater Niagara Medical Imaging)
We are looking for an experienced, responsible and knowledgeable individual as a receptionist at our expanding medical imaging facility.
Location: St. Catharines, ON

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Scheduling appointments and preparing patients for their medical imaging procedure
  • Registering patients for their procedure
  • Answering phone calls and checking voicemails
  • Scanning and assigning paper work to the radiologists for dictation
  • Billing through PACS (selecting appropriate procedures according to the referring physician’s orders and make adjustments if necessary)
  • Effectively communicate with technologists, patients, referring physicians and radiologists
  • Organize and prioritize tasks at hand
  • Follow departmental protocol
  • SIMMS program experience, an asset but not required
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Able to cover sick and vacation time
