Description

Our clinic in Mater Hospital is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team. We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.
The role is a part time position with shifts of Monday 8:30am - 4:30pm, Tuesday 8:30am - 4:30pm, and Wednesday 8:30am - 4pm.
Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
  • Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
  • Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
  • Billing procedures - private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
  • Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
Customer service experience in fast paced environments is very beneficial.
