About this role
Our busy clinic in Miranda is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team
The role is a full time position working Monday to Friday, with shifts between the clinic hours of 7:45am - 6pm. We also offer flexible rostering options to work within your availability, like a 4 day work week or 9 day fortnight.
Centrally located in the heart of the shire, enjoy the convenience of beautiful beaches, Westfield Miranda, gyms, and eateries all within a short walk or drive from the clinic!
Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
  • Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
  • Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
  • Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
  • Building relationships with clerical and technical staff, referrers, and radiologists.

What we’re looking for:
✅ Clear verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service background.
✅ Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
✅ Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
Prior experience in Medical Reception is beneficial, but isn’t essential, as you will receive supportive training to learn our systems and build a foundation of radiology knowledge. We recommend learning more about what we do here.
