Our clinics in Cairns and Mount Sheridan are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team on a Full time or Casual basis with availability to work between the core hours of 7:45am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Role Overview: As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your responsibilities will include:

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Understanding of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills (knowledge of medical software and Microsoft Office Suite).
• Radiology or Medical Reception experience highly regarded

• Manage medical records confidentially and efficiently.
• Process patient payments (cash, Eftpos, direct billing).
• Invoice Medicare, Private Health Funds, CTP, DVA and Workcover.
• Handle internal emails and inquiries.
• Maintain a tidy reception waiting area.
