JOB SUMMARY

  • We require a part time receptionist to join our close knit team in Officer. If you thrive in a fast paced team environment this role could be perfect.
  • Ideal candidate would be flexible and able to work 5 days per week to cover holidays and personal leave.
  • You will be the first point of contact for all patients. You must be able to multi-task at a fast pace, answer calls and greet patients in a warm and professional manner. Attend to the high demands of our doctors
  • Able to be authoritative and play a gatekeeper role for our doctors
  • Demonstrate an understanding of basic health knowledge

Responsibilities include: * Greeting patients

  • Scheduling appointments
  • Scanning and data management of medical records
  • Preparation of patient accounts
  • Medicare Batching
  • Private billing using Tyro Efpos
  • Setting up of consulting rooms
  • Skills
  • Willingness to learn and work as a team.
  • Previous experience in administration/customer care in a combined face-to-face and over email/telephone environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and energetic personality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet set standards.
  • Dependable and reliable in character and possess a strong work ethic. Excellent communication and a strong customer service ethos
