Lea Vale Medical Group are looking for a Medical Receptionist with experience in customer service to join our long-standing, friendly surgery. This is an exciting role as you’d be joining an established non-clinical team that serves just over 40,000 patients and is rated outstanding by the CQC.

Responsibilities:
- Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team members and associated healthcare agencies and providers
- Assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
- Facilitate effective communication between patients and members of the healthcare community.
- Provide patients, relatives and other services with correct information
- Operate clinical computer systems and maintain high quality data entry.
- Communicate with other agencies like transport, phlebotomy, hospital etc.

Previous medical or healthcare receptionist experience is desirable but not necessary as full training will be given
