Description

About us

Sage Gynaecology is a new private specialist gynaecology practice led by Dr Kathryn Green and Dr Matt McKnoulty. The doctors currently consult from sessional suites in Caboolture and Redcliffe, and will soon open permanent rooms at North Lakes. It's an exciting time to join as this new chapter begins. We're looking for a warm, organised Medical Receptionist to join us from the start and help shape how the practice runs.

About the role

You will be the first point of contact for our patients, often at a sensitive time in their lives. Your role is to make every patient feel welcome, informed and looked after, and to keep the front desk running smoothly. Until our North Lakes rooms open, you will work across our sessional suites, with some administrative duties, including phone and email enquiries, completed from home.

  • Hours: Approximately 38 hours across four days
  • Start: ASAP

What you'll do

  • Welcome patients and manage in-person enquiries at the sessional suites
  • Manage phone and email enquiries, both remotely and on-site
  • Book and manage appointments, referrals and recalls
  • Process billing, receipting, and Medicare and health fund claims
  • Provide billing quotes and informed financial consent
  • Coordinate theatre and procedure bookings
  • Support the doctors with day-to-day admin

About you

  • Experience as a medical receptionist, ideally in a specialist practice
  • Confident with practice software (Xestro experience a bonus)
  • Experience with IVF or fertility billing highly regarded
  • A calm, kind and professional manner, with discretion and respect for patient privacy
  • Organised, accurate and able to juggle a busy front desk
  • Keen to be part of a new practice and help set things up the right way
  • Driver's licence and own car, to travel between sessional suites

Why join us

  • Be part of a new practice from day one
  • A supportive, close-knit team
  • Support in our systems and processes
  • Some work-from-home flexibility
  • Laptop and mobile provided
  • Free parking at the sessional suites

How to apply

Please apply with your resume and a short cover letter telling us why you would love this role.
