Position: Medical Receptionist, Multiple roles available
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet patients warmly and ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the reception desk.
· Using Best Practice, scheduling appointments efficiently and managing the appointments effectively.
· With courtesy and professionalism, answering phones and attending queries from patients, other medical and specialist centres, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
· Ensure accuracy in collection and collation of patient information, verifying insurance details, and updating medical records accurately.
· Coordinating with other members of the team and maintain clear communication to ensure smooth patient flow.
· Knowledge of computer systems such as MS Office, Outlook, printing, scanning and uploading patient and practice related information into practice software systems.
· Assisting patients with filling out necessary forms and providing guidance as needed.
· Using Tyro and Hicaps, handling billing and payment processes accurately and discreetly.
· Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and the practice.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role in health care setting
· Proficient knowledge of computer programs and software systems.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment effectively.
· Understanding of patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
· A positive and professional attitude with a genuine passion for patient care.
