McCrae Village Clinic is looking for a competent, professional,well-presented, and friendly receptionist to join our team.
Our Medical Centre is a well-established accredited General Practice with modern treatment rooms and a Multidisciplinary Team providing a range of services to our community.
We strive to provide our patients with excellent care, in a friendly and supportive environment.
The suitable candidate will need to have a professional manner with excellent communication and administration skills and be able to provide support to patients and doctors.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional presentation with a high level of self-motivation to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic
  • Hard working ,punctual and excellent work ethic
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent computer skills and efficient in Microsoft Office and web-based programs
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Casual Hours 15 hours per week ongoing basis with additional holiday cover
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $24.00 – $34.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, visitors and clients to the clinic
  • Schedule patient appointments and update admin records
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as data entry, scanning, faxing and emailing
  • Liaise with medical professionals to arrange appointments, meetings and manage correspondence
  • Daily banking, receipting and reconciliation
  • Supporting with daily clinic tasks
  • Record and maintain accurate communication using established practice protocols and computerised medical record systems
