We need 3 mornings a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Only apply if you can do all 3.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional patient service, and ensuring the smooth flow of administrative tasks within the medical office. This role requires efficiency, multitasking ,strong communication skills, proficiency in electronic scheduling and data entry .

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, health information management, and insurance processes.
  • Familiarity with pear portal, availity is advantageous .
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
  • Proficient typing skills with experience in 10 key typing preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments and handle inquiries.
  • Perform insurance verification and collect payments as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Assist with medical billing and coding using CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 standards.
  • Review care plans and provide administrative support to clinical staff.
  • Handle clerical tasks including filing, typing, and data entry using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ensure a clean and organized front desk area while managing patient flow efficiently.
