Description

A Family Practice in Oakville is seeking an enthusiastic, courteous, organized, punctual, detail oriented, committed individual.
Experience in electronic medical records is preferable.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and checking in patients
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Scanning, faxing and uploading documents
  • Handling referrals
  • Notifying patients of their specialists’ appointments
  • Answering the phone
  • Attending to faxes, emails and voicemails on daily basis
  • Disinfecting examination rooms between each patient
  • Escorting patients to their examination rooms
  • Keeping the waiting area clean, tidy and disinfected at all times
  • Monitoring and recording fridge temperatures on daily basis
  • Maintaining an inventory of the office supplies including medical supplies and medical forms

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Teamwork is an essential skill for this position
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to details
  • Experience in electronic medical records is a definite asset
  • Good computer skills
  • Professionalism and extreme patient confidentiality at all times
