We are looking for a friendly medical receptionist to join the team at our multidisciplinary allied health practice based in Lane Cove, Sydney.
Northside Speech Pathology is a fast-growing, multidisciplinary allied health practice in Lane Cove, offering paediatric Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Behaviour Support to local families. We are passionate about providing family-centred care and empowering children to achieve their potential.
We are seeking a Receptionist / Administration assistant for our growing practice to provide high quality support to our clients and staff.
This casual position (1-2 days per week) will be integral to providing high quality client care and excellent administrative support.

Responsibilities

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

· Welcoming clients to the clinic
· Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries
· Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
· Accurate billing, receipting, and invoicing
· Processing of payments, including NDIS, Medicare and private health fund payments
· General administrative duties e.g. scanning, filing, responding to emails
· Keeping the clinic maintained, tidy and clean
· Assisting clinicians in resource preparation
· Assisting in planning staff events such as social events and staff meetings
· Assisting in advertising and promotion through social media and other platforms

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA FOR THIS ROLE:

· The capacity to undertake administrative tasks to a high standard including scheduling, record keeping, managing waitlists and maintaining procedures
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· High-level problem solving, research and analytical skills
· The ability to take initiative, working both one your own and as a team
· The ability to work within a confidential environment
· Emotional intelligence and a high level of empathy
· High level of organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
· The ability to multitask, work quickly and cope well under pressure
· A dedicated, proactive and committed work attitude
· A positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Current working with children check, or willingness to obtain
