Summary: We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support in a medical office setting. Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm Location: Festus, MO 63028 Duties: Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments Maintain patient records and update information as necessary Assist with medical billing and coding tasks Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Skills: Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role is preferred Knowledge of dental receptionist duties is a plus Familiarity with medical records management systems such as Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical scheduling procedures and terminology This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our medical office.
