Description Must be available Tuesdays 1:00 pm-9:00pm, Thursday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Additional hours may be available and this position has a potential to become full time in the future. About Us: The Makovicka Physical Therapy Team strives to provide an atmosphere where we can focus on outstanding service through employee engagement and organizational growth, and to create a welcoming and friendly environment. Position: Are you detail oriented and enjoy computer work but also like to be up and moving and not be tied to a desk all of the time? This is a part-time position may be perfect for you! You must be available from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Great team members are ones who fit our culture and values, working to ensure that patients feel welcome and at ease through their experience in our clinic. We strive to provide a friendly and encouraging environment for our patients and you play a key role. This position will have a mix of active patient interaction and administrative duties in the clinic. What You’ll Do: Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and putting people at ease Ensure accurate patient records Assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care Manage and maintain the physical space of the clinic and equipment Help patients with exercises and mobility activities Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the team What You Need to be Successful: Enjoy moving and working with patients Ability to multitask and prioritize various patient, clinician, and clinic needs Detail-oriented and a need to make sure that every detail is correct Strong people and communication skills Have a high level of proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs This position requires the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, insurance, and the general public. In addition, there is a high degree of physical movement throughout the day. Experience with insurance, patient or customer service and healthcare is preferred.
