Medical Receptionist - Radiology, Clifton Medical Services Department: Radiology Entity: Aga Khan University Hospital Location: Karachi, Pakistan Introduction: Clifton Medical Services (CMS) is part of the Aga Khan University Hospital's Outreach Medical Centres, designed to conveniently provide quality healthcare services to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week, closer to where they live and work. CMS offers 24/7 Emergency Services​ for patients of all ages who need emergency medical attention. When patients require admission, they can be directly transferred to in-patient units located at Stadium Road Campus through a well-equipped ambulance accompanied by qualified staff. Our wide range of multi-specialty clinics for men, women, and children of all ages are designed to meet the needs and demands of patients based on their health status and lifestyle. CMS also has state-of-the-art Daycare Chemotherapy and Dialysis units, where patients receive compassionate care, treatment, and services from highly qualified, trained, and experienced doctors, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff. When the doctor requests laboratory tests or clinical imaging (e.g. X-ray, Ultrasound, CT scan, Mammogram & OPG scan), the patient can get it done at CMS. Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: Welcome the patient at the receptions/department, greet them and address their needs. Schedule/Reschedule and confirm appointments of procedures for patients coming personally or calling over the telephone. Receive payments through cash, credit/Debit cards/cheques from patients for procedures and maintain accurate record on computer via Radiology Information System/Integrated Laboratory Management System (ILMS). Print online radiology requests. Call patients from inpatients areas & Emergency Department for procedures and send them back after completion of procedure. Receive telephone calls and provide necessary information and/or transfer to concerned person. Balance cash with receipts at the end of the day to be sent to finance. Perform duties in shifts and provide coverage for colleagues in times of need. Manage all cash received during duty hours. Abide by the reception policy of the department as well as institutional policy for handling and shortage /excess of cash. Maintain all necessary records related to reception operation. Any other task assigned by the supervisor or management. Requirements: You should have: Graduate Degree 3-5 years of related work experience preferred. Good interpersonal skills Ability to handle cash and maintain accounts. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu. Good at working with numbers. Responsibilities
