Medical Receptionist - Riccarton Clinic  About us: Riccarton Clinic is a busy combined General Practice and Urgent Care clinic located at Church Corner, Upper Riccarton. Open every day of the year from 8.00am to 8.00pm, our team of 110+ health professionals ensures that the healthcare needs of many are met. We are looking for a Permanent Part time employee working Monday to Sunday, 32 hours per week, reporting to our Practice Manager – Front of House. About the role: The Medical Receptionist is a pivotal person in the medical clinic environment, given they are the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. They co-ordinate the services and play a major role in prioritising workflows and managing patient expectations. The Medical Receptionist provides front line reception services and assists and communicates with staff accordingly. Patients should feel that they have been seen in a prompt, friendly, courteous and professional manner. This is a casual position, with preferred availability to work some weekends. What we are looking for: We’re looking for a motivated and reliable individual who thrives in a busy and team-oriented environment. Ideally, you are an experienced Medical Receptionist who will be able to hit the ground running. In addition, we are looking for someone with: * Previous medical reception experience is an advantage. * Customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple information streams at once whilst keeping your composure. * Exceptional attention to detail. * Articulate, professional and empathetic style of communication. * MedTech experience is an advantage. * Motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individual who has a passion to be a team player. * A commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to inclusive, equitable healthcare delivery.
