Description

Established St. Albert chiropractic clinic is looking for a dedicated office receptionist able to manage additional duties as an administrative support. Ideal applicants will have 3+ years related experience in a physiotherapy or chiropractic office. Competitive wage starting point based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • professional conduct and appearance
  • prioritizing, self motivation, working independently
  • high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced environment
  • graduate of a medical assistant program
  • Must have a working experience with the health records program and especially “Jane”

POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • provide welcoming first point of contact to patients seeking chiropractic / massage services
  • higher than average telephone etiquette
  • book appointments and maintain practitioners schedules
  • working knowledge of the program “JANE”
  • billing patients and taking payments efficiently
  • familiar with direct billing to EHC insurance companies
  • knowledge of WCB and MVA claims
  • experience in accounts receivable and reconciliation procedures
  • maintain orderly reception and front desk area
  • some daily/ weekly clinic cleaning duties
    Clinic Hours:
    Monday 10:00-7:00 pm
    Tuesday- Thursday 9:00 - 6:00 pm
    Friday 9:00 - 4:30 pm
