We are a new practice led by a highly respected Neurosurgeon who is now embarking on the exciting journey of setting up their own practice. ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a warm, friendly, flexible, empathetic patient-focused Medical Receptionist for a permanent part-time role. You will be a true Brand Ambassador and Director of First Impressions for our Surgeon. The successful applicant will be comfortable with the day-to-day requirements of a busy Specialist practice and prides themselves in their attention to detail skills, and loves working with a hardworking and empathetic collaborative team. For the right candidate, we are happy to train from a GP/Physician background.

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming patients into the practice in an efficient, friendly and courteous manner
  • Managing consulting sessions along with consulting billing and uploading reports/scans etc for each patient
  • Ensuring excellent customer service in all forms of communication (phones, emails, in-person)
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments
  • Collecting and entering patient details, patient surveys and administration services (training provided if needed)
  • Answering phone calls and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Performing general administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, mail sorting, filing and follow-up patient inquiries
  • Patient Consulting billing and processing of payments (training provided if needed)
  • Supporting and assisting the Surgeon and fellow administrative staff in a range of administration and ad-hoc tasks.
