Description

We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist to join our busy medical practice. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly and approachable manner, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
You will be required 3 days a week Between Monday and Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and assisting patients in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answering phones, booking appointments, and managing patient enquiries
  • Processing billings and Medicare claims
  • Maintaining patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Providing administrative support to doctors and other clinical staff

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a medical receptionist
  • Proficiency in Best Practice software
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Medicare billing processes
  • Previous experience in a GP clinic or specialist practice
