Join St John of God Midland Private Hospital as a Medical Receptionist – Sessional Suites and play a key role in supporting visiting medical specialists and delivering exceptional patient service. In this position, you will provide and maintain an efficient and professional clerical service, ensuring the smooth and successful day-to-day operation of the Sessional Suites. You will coordinate appointments, manage patient enquiries and support administrative processes, contributing to a seamless experience for consultants, patients and caregivers in a busy, patient-focused healthcare environment. We are seeking candidates with previous experience in a similar role within a medical practice. The successful applicants will demonstrate strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and perform effectively under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality customer service. Applicants should possess strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft applications, and have a good understanding of medical terminology and experience with patient management systems. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required, as well as a professional presentation, positive attitude, and flexibility with working hours. An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and sensitivity when dealing with patients is essential. About the new Midland Private Hospital A brand-new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility, currently under construction, located just 300 metres from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals Campus. A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region The hospital will feature: 96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six-bed critical care/high dependency unit. 33-bed/chair short stay and day procedure unit Eight operating theatres.
