Job Description
We are looking to recruit a receptionist to join our expanding team. Hours are Monday to Friday - 8.00pm to 6.45pm. Flexibility to cover additional hours for holidays and sickness is essential. We are looking for a receptionist who can fit into our busy practice. The successful candidate would need excellent communication and keyboard skills and the ability to respond to varying demands and changing circumstances as the practice develops.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining a busy switchboard, email enquiries and dealing with face to face enquiries
  • Politely greeting patients and visitors to the practice
  • Opening post and forwarding it onto the relevant parties
  • Scanning, filing and all notes and patient record keeping
  • Scheduling appointments for patients
  • Updating the surgeries computer system with appointments and personal details
  • Maintaining a clean reception area to show a professional image

Training will be given, however, previous experience is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
