Description

Warlingham Green Medical Practice is currently recruiting a receptionist, for 27 hours per week (Monday 8am to 6:30pm, Wednesday 2-8pm and Friday 8am to 6:30pm). The surgery core hours are 8am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday with early opening on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and late opening until 8pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
We also have a receptionist vacancy at our Chaldon Road Surgery for 31 hour per week (Tuesday 8am to 6:30pm, Wednesday 1:30pm to 6:30pm, Thursday 8am to 6:30pm and Friday 1:30pm to 6:30pm).
We are a friendly and busy GP Surgery based over 3 sites, committed to delivering excellent patient care in a welcoming environment and are looking for someone to join our existing team of friendly and hard working receptionists.
We are looking for someone, preferably with experience, although not essential, who can join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors and must provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone. You will need to be calm under pressure and capable of handling stressful situations.
Full training will be given.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for general administration and reception duties within our established processes, policies and procedures, providing a high standard of care and dealing efficiently and courteously with our patients. We aim to give all patients a positive experience.
Duties include dealing with telephone, face to face and electronic enquiries, booking and/or amending patient appointments, contacting patients to provide information from the clinical team and assisting them to access our services.
There will some general administration duties which include registration of new patients, checking accuracy of details, processing incoming post, scanning, issuing prescriptions, and other administrative duties etc.
