JOB SUMMARY

Are you a friendly and organised individual with a passion for helping others? Talybont surgery is looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our close-knit team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for handling telephone calls, booking appointments, completing tasks allocated to the reception team, and providing administration cover when needed. Your contribution will be vital in supporting our clinical team and enhancing patient care.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience within a GP practice is desirable but not essential
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, Emis, Docman, Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a varied role
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Welsh speaking is an advantage but not essential
