Medical Receptionist  Fixed-Term, 30 hours per week  White Cross Whangārei Urgent Care Are you at your best when you're helping people, juggling multiple priorities, and keeping everything running smoothly with a smile? White Cross Whangārei is looking for a Fixed-Term Medical Receptionist (30 hours per week) to join our busy urgent care team. This is a varied and rewarding role. You'll play a key part in creating a positive experience for patients while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic. Key Responsibilities:  Front Desk & Patient Support * Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and empathy.  * Answer phone enquiries and assist with appointment bookings. * Ensure patient flow is managed efficiently during busy clinic hours. Waiting Room Care * Keep patients informed about wait times and clinic processes. * Support a calm, organised, and welcoming environment. * Respond to patient needs with care and understanding. Payments & Administration * Process payments, invoices, ACC claims, and other patient transactions. * Complete enrolment and registration documentation. * Maintain accurate patient records and administrative systems.   Privacy, Safety & Compliance * Handle confidential patient information with discretion and care. * Adhere to privacy, security, and health and safety procedures at all times. * Support clinic processes and contribute to continuous improvement.   Why Join Us?
