The Child and Family Guidance Center is currently seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist.  The Medical Receptionist is responsible for assisting clients and staff in a busy Outpatient Behavioral Health Unit. They will be a bi-lingual Spanish speaker working within the guidelines, policies, procedures and mission of the Child and Family Guidance Center; understands and supports the Agency’s strategic plan and its Values. Salary - $19hr  The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following Essential Functions: * Greet clients and visitors, in person or on the telephone answering or referring inquiries. * Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing. * Assist psychiatrists with making phone calls, scanning, copying, and faxing. * Follow office policies and procedures. * Maintain patient accounts by validating all personal and financial information. * Maintain, record and process clinical results as requested by clinical staff. * Maintain confidentiality of client information. * Manage correspondence to and from community providers, families, pharmacies, and other organizations involved in care. * Assist in coverage as needed. * Ability to work collaboratively with others while meeting deadlines.
