WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PART-TIME RECEPTIONIST TO JOIN OUR SMALL, FRIENDLY TEAM.

Our patient list size is increasing and we need more help!
The position will include a variety of administrative duties, welcoming patients at the reception, and dealing with online and telephone enquiries. etc.
This would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment, and who has experience in working with with a small team. Experience of high volume of call handling essential, and a knowledge of SystmOne clinical software would be a definite advantage

Experience:

  • Medical Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
  • Call handling: 1 year (required

Responsibilities

  • Processing prescriptions requests
  • General IT administration

To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of receptionist and administrative duties. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:

  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • File and store records as required
  • Photocopy documentation as required
  • Process letters as requested
  • Data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information
  • Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients healthcare records
  • Input data into the patients healthcare records as necessary
  • Process requests for information i.e. SAR, insurance / solicitors letters and DVLA forms
  • Process incoming test results, ensuring they are referred to the relevant clinician
  • Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately
  • Manage all administrative queries as necessary
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times
  • Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested
  • Book appointments
  • Management of repeat prescriptions, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Complete opening and closing procedures in accordance with the duty rota

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
