Responsibilities

  • Answering many phone calls
  • Scheduling appointment for a diverse group of physicians, Nurse Practitioner, and Counsellors
  • Greeting our patients and putting them at ease when they are not feeling their best
  • Multitasking! Your duties will involve many other aspects of medical administration
  • Be flexible to the fact that your duties will evolve and change with the ever-changing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in administration is a plus
  • Proven experience as a secretary or administrative assistant in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Computer/Tech Savvy - Experience with electronic medical records (particularly PS Suite) an asset
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Education:

  • Secondary School (required)

Experience:

  • Electronic medical records: 1 year (preferred)
  • Medical office experience: 1 year (preferred)
