Description We is seeking a reliable, organized and dedicated Medical Records Administrative Assistant to join Team QLI. The Administrative Assistant must have a positive and creative approach to be able to assist team members, residents, and families to reach their highest potential. This roles includes positive interactions, patience, problem solving, organization skills, a high level of customer service, development and maintenance of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, and management of essential medical supplies. Roles and Responsibilities include: As a C.N.A., provide assistance with ADL’s or other recreational activities. Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team, residents, family members, and vendors. Demonstrate empathy and a willingness to help teammates outside of your traditional job role. Provide excellent customer service to all and provide a positive and consistent model for social skills programming. Manage medical supply inventory including ordering. Develop, maintain, and audit medical records according to company policy as well as state and federal regulations. Provide oversight and guidance in the development and maintenance of the medical records function for QLI in Point Click Care. Maintain strict confidentially of resident client records. Complete MDS process following regulatory guidelines. MDS is a standardized assessment tool for post-acute care facilities. Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and strive to constantly maintain compliance. Education and Certifications: Certified to work in Nebraska as a nursing assistant. (required) We offer PAID training for the right candidate if you do not have your certification yet. Must be at least 18 years old (required) Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles (required) Proficient in basic computer skills such as Excel, Outlook, and willingness to learn our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
