Job Details Job Location: COLORADO SPRINGS, CO 80924 Salary Range: $16.00 - $19.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day The Medical Record Assistant will support the Medical Record Director with a variety of tasks including collecting patient information, issuing medical files, filing/uploading medical records, and processing patient admissions and discharge papers, and departmental audits. Ensure medical records are complete, accurate and maintained in a manner compliance with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements of the medical services system. Process KEPRO appeals in a timely manner. Assist with medical professional credentialing. Additionally the Medical Records Assistant will provide coverage for the front desk and other duties as assigned. Specific Requirements: 6 months experience working with EMR. The ideal candidate has some Medical Records experience, specifically with the EMR platform Point Click Care. Excellent computer skills is a must Proficient in computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Outlook Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Strong attention to detail Work Remotely No Job Types: Full-time Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Nursing home: 1 year (Required) Point-Click Care: 1 year (Required) Qualifications Education Requirements: Must possess, as minimum, a high school diploma.
