Description:

To provide a comprehensive, effective and patient focused administrative, and clerical service in relation to Outpatient Clinics and will be required to provide cover and support when required at any of the hospitals within the Health Board.
Hours for this post will be as follows -
Monday - Friday hours to be agreed but flexibility is required.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months due to maternity cover. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
This post is based in the Medical Records Department in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
The hours of this post will be worked as above and a flexible approach to work will be required to meet the needs of the service.
The successful candidate will join a well established team of staff who provide a clerical and retrieval service for case notes for Outpatient clinic.
The successful candidate will support in all areas of the department.
Working one day a week in our off site storage Hub is also essential which will involve the retrieval of paper records for Outpatient Clinics. The successful candidate must be numerate and literate and must be able to work under pressure and have good keyboard skills.
Experience working in a busy office environment is desirable but training on the job will be provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
