Description Personalcare Registered Professional Nursing P.C. is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Medical Records Clerk (MRC) to work full-time in the Medical Department at the Ulster County Jail located in Kingston, NY. Available Shift: Full-time Day Shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Monday to Friday The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks such as medical records request, administrative reports, Continuity of Care (COC) release, and other medical duties including but not limited to: · Maintaining examination and treatment areas · Verification of medications and medical information · Maintain medication records · Answer telephone and processing calls · Maintain filing system and confidentiality of information at all times · Provide full administrative and clerical support to the medical department at the facility to include typing of various reports, letters and memorandum · Data Entry · Scanning documents into the computer · Assisting with the credentialing process of new hires · Maintain staff log · Schedule transports · Assist with billing Salary Description: $20.00 per hour Full Job Description: https://www.primecaremedical.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/JD.NY-Medical-Records-Clerk.pdf Requirements · Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multi-tasking · Good grasp of patient assessment skills · Effective communication skills & pleasant telephone manner · Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions · Working knowledge of office equipment and medical equipment · Working knowledge of medical terminology · Minimum of 2 years medical assistant or medical office administrative support. · Strong computer skills (including Word, Excel, and Outlook) · Strong organizations skills and attention to detail · Ability to work with confidential matters and information is required
