Long Description: Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Medical Records Coder 3 to join the HB Coding Operations team. This role is Full-time working daytime hours Monday to Friday | REMOTE. This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in the following states – VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV. Maintains CPT, Modifier, ICD-10-CM diagnosis accuracy rates. Maintains CPT scores as outlined by the Coding Operations Director and Coding Manager. Maintains modifier accuracy as defined by the Coding Operations Director and the Coding Manager. Meets coding productivity standards as established by the Coding Operations Director and Coding Manager. Minimum Requirements: Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent and completion of an AHIMA-approved coding or health information technology program. Experience: At least three years of recent coding experience in an acute care hospital setting or integrated hospital system. Credentialed as an RHIA, RHIT, CCS from AHIMA or CPC, or COC from AAPC. Certification: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or COC certification.
