Description Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Medical Records Coordinator/Transportation Aide maintains resident’s medical records in accordance with facility policies and regulations and is responsible for non-emergency medical transportation of elderly individuals to routine doctor appointments, activities, or hospital admissions/discharges. Requirements High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent Valid Driver's License and clean record Prior experience in long-term care setting is preferred Physical and Sensory Requirements (with or without the aid of mechanical devices): walking, reaching, sitting, grasping, bending, lifting, pushing, hand coordination, ability to read and write in English Ability to communicate with residents, families, employees and support agencies in an effective and professional manner
