A well-established law firm and medical company based in the North West is currently seeking a Medical Records Paginator Department Head to join their team at their St Helens office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and detail-focused professional with a strong background in medical records pagination to step into a senior leadership role within a dynamic and supportive environment.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant experience in medical records pagination (ideally in a legal or medico-legal setting)
  • Previous leadership or management experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Sound knowledge of medical terminology and legal processes related to personal injury and clinical negligence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Effective communication and team coordination skills
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the medical pagination department
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of pagination professionals
  • Personally handle a number of medical pagination files to support team workload and maintain hands-on expertise
  • Review and ensure the accuracy and compliance of medical records and chronologies
  • Liaise with solicitors, medical experts, and clients to fulfil pagination requirements
  • Allocate resources and monitor workloads to meet deadlines
  • Implement training plans and quality assurance processes
  • Stay up to date with relevant legal and medical terminology and practices
