Sorting of patient records in preparation for summarising Reviewing medical records and producing an accurate summary of the patients medical history Extensive Notes Summarising Scanning clinical correspondence to the patients records Coding the information into the practice clinical system Workflow correspondence following practice protocol Auditing data collection standards in the Practice Ensure that all confidential information is locked away securely at the end of the day Monitoring the progress of notes, summarising against our targets Routinely perform coding of all relevant information from patients notes, letters from clinical consultants, test results and diagnostic reports into the Practice clinical system Clinical searches on patients to ensure notes are correctly coded General ad-hoc additional administration tasks Checking notes and inputting data related to QOF quality outcomes framework and IIF. To be flexible to support wider work of admin team as necessary Handling queries tasks and telephone calls both internally and externall
