Description Position Summary: Shodair Children's Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Records Specialist II to join our Health Information Management team. The specialist will be responsible for processing requests for protected healthcare information (PHI) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards as outlined in Shodair’s Compliance Program Plan and Code of Conduct. Key Responsibilities: Process requests for protected healthcare information (PHI) promptly and accurately. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Operate document scanning and copying equipment to manage and archive medical records. Uphold legal and ethical standards in accordance with Shodair’s Compliance Program. Perform other related duties as assigned by the department supervisor. Ideal Candidate Will Be: Highly organized and detail-oriented. Knowledgeable of healthcare privacy standards.
