The Opportunity For our Abbott Nutrition Division ANI we are currently looking for a Medical Representative (maternity cover) to join our great team in Slovenia. This will be a field-based role, requiring regular travelling across assigned area (Ljubljana and surroundings). This position will be a temporary assignment for maternity cover period - approximately 12 months, and the contract will be signed with external agency (B2B contract). What You'll do: Build effective business relationships with health care partners and customers; win new customers, as well as developing long-term relationships with existing ones. Ensure high-quality sales calls and excellence in selling skills. Maintain f2f call frequencies and number of doctor visits as per plan. Ensure regular CRM reporting and regular segmentation and targeting process. Implement and propose marketing activities. Grow Product knowledge by attendance at conferences and seminars. Administration, database maintenance, expense reports preparation. Required qualifications and background: University degree preferably in science related field. Prior experience in pharma sales is highly desired. Experience in interaction with hospital specialists from Oncology, Gastroenterology, Neurology or Diabetes would be an advantage. Proficiency in English and Slovenian. Competency in MS Office applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong relationship building skills. Can-do attitude with pro-active approach. Ability to organize own work, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to understand the data and propose necessary actions. Ability and willingness to travel on a frequent basis. Driving license B and own car that can be used for daily travel across the territory.
