Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Pharmaceutical Sales Co-Ordinator based out of our Dubai hub. In this role, you will be the primary liaison between our North American headquarters and the Middle Eastern market. Your mission will be to identify market needs and facilitate the supply of vital pharmaceuticals to address regional drug shortages, tender requirements, and specialized patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Service, maintain, and grow existing client accounts across the Middle East territory, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and ongoing partnerships.
- Business Development: Proactively identify, target, and acquire new accounts, building a robust and diverse client portfolio.
- Lead Generation: Generate new sales leads through market research, networking, and outreach, executing consistent and effective follow-ups to close sales.
- Specialized Pharmaceutical Sales: Drive the sale and export of pharmaceuticals from Canada and the USA to fulfill specialized regional demands, including:
- Non-registered drug requirements
- Regional drug shortages
- Government and institutional tenders
- Named patient use / Compassionate use programs
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with the Canada and USA corporate offices to ensure seamless order processing, compliance, and timely logistics for international shipments.
- Market Strategy: Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to optimize sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales, account management, or medical supply sales within the Middle East region.
- Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape in the GCC and broader Middle East, particularly regarding tenders, unregistered drugs, and named patient imports.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage a wide sales territory, and drive measurable results.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the Middle East region as required.
