Arthrex Lancaster is seeking highly self-motivated technology associate to join our fast-paced, dedicated team. We are a growing, dynamic, orthopedic, independently owned agency authorized to sell Arthrex, Inc. products within Eastern & Central Pennsylvania selling a full line of highly differentiated, innovative technology, and disposable products. The Technology Associate will be responsible for achieving pre-determined sales goals and quotas within his or her team’s assigned territory. The Technology Associate must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market leading product portfolio. You will be consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments. This position is geared for a growth-oriented individual with a winning mentality. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred Business or Biology focus areas
  • Experience in medical sales or orthopedic experience is a plus
  • Background in sports, sports medicine or competition preferred
  • Knowledge and background in human anatomy a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments
  • Ability to learn a high level of technical information, anatomy and indications as it relates to surgery and procedures
Responsibilities
  • Learn and become an expert in understanding how to use and advise Health Care Professionals on the Arthrex portfolio of over 32,000+ products and procedures.
  • Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory. Represent Arthrex Lancaster, an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
  • Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.
  • Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate communication responses (written, telephone and face-to-face).
  • Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
  • Address any problems that arise at the accounts within your territory or bring to the attention of someone that can.
  • Work with Sales Manager by receiving coaching, training or mentoring; transfer knowledge to peer Associates and Consultants when needed.
  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
  • Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
  • Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
  • Ability to lift to 35+ pounds on a regular basis.
  • Responsibly maintain inventory of consigned products.
