Description Overview We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative / Territory Manager to drive growth within a defined Southern California territory, selling innovative hernia mesh and staple reinforcement technologies into hospital operating rooms. This role requires strong clinical credibility and the ability to actively support and lead cases in the OR. The ideal candidate has a background selling surgeon-preference products to General and/or Plastic Surgeons. Please no wound care, orthopedic or spine reps. Key Responsibilities • Sell hernia mesh and staple reinforcement products to hospital operating rooms • Build and maintain strong relationships with General and Plastic Surgeons • Lead and support cases in the operating room, providing clinical expertise • Manage and grow an established territory through strategic account planning • Conduct in-services and product education with clinical staff • Partner with hospital stakeholders including surgeons, nursing staff, and supply chain • Execute territory business plans to meet or exceed sales targets • Track pipeline activity and territory performance metrics Territory • Coverage includes Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Bakersfield • Territory does NOT include Orange County or the Inland Empire • Approximately 20% travel within the territory Compensation & Benefits • Base Salary: $145,000 – $155,000 • Total Compensation at Plan: $190,000 – $210,000 • Company-provided vehicle • Comprehensive benefits package Requirements Required Qualifications • 3–5 years of surgical medical device sales experience • MUST HAVE Background selling into General Surgery and/or Plastic Surgery • MUST HAVE Experience selling surgeon-preference products • Demonstrated ability to lead and support cases in the operating room • Proven success managing a defined sales territory • Strong relationship-building and communication skills Location Requirement • Candidate must currently reside in the Los Angeles area • Candidates living in Orange County will not be considered • Relocation assistance is not available
