We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Osteo Netherlands who is agile with a drive to build strong lasting relationships and who has an enthusiastic innovative mindset to come join our Medical Osteoporosis BeNeLuxTeam, to be based in The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the MSL for Osteoporosis you are the field-based scientific expert within osteoporosis and work externally and internally, and closely with an integrated team across functions. In your role as MSL you are the leading local scientific expert for UCB in the therapeutic area and the key scientific discussion partner that interacts with national and international Thought Leaders (Key opinion leaders: KOLs), and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) at various phases of the product life cycle in the Netherlands.. The position does not require an in depth knowledge to be an expert in the field
Your role includes scientific discussions, presentations and responses to unsolicited questions, internal medical training, congress participation, medical educational program development, feasibility processes around clinical trials and primary contact for donations, grants, investigator-initiated research as well as building local medical plans, conduct advisory boards and arrange scientific symposiums.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Engage in scientific discussions, presentations, and responses to unsolicited questions
  • Identify and manage key scientific and medical influencers
  • Explore innovative solutions and services to improve patient care
  • Partner with clinical KOLs, payers, patient organizations, and patients to advance medical initiatives
  • Serve as the leading local scientific expert in osteoporosis
  • Share insights, innovation, and patient needs internally
  • Collaborate on the development of real-world evidence and leverage UCB solutions for patients. Presentation of RWE/HEOR/clinical information to regional payer accounts and formularies
  • Design and execute local eco-system´s medical plan
