ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We currently have an opening for a full-time Medical Science Liaison based remotely in Florida. Reporting to the Associate Director of Medical Affairs, the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will serve as a therapeutic and disease expert who develops and cultivates on-going professional relationships with healthcare practitioners to help achieve positive health outcomes for patients.
In addition to provider-based interactions, the MSL works closely with ALK Sales and Marketing teams to sustain a high level of internal and external scientific communication and to provide scientific leadership for the entire company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• A Masters degree with PA or NP, PharmD, PhD, or DNP certification
• Biopharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and proven therapeutic competence in the disease area; capable of conducting advanced degree level discussions with key customers
• Field-based clinical or research experience related to respiratory disease or allergy
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills
• A thorough understanding of the FDA, OIG, HIPPA and other ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong customer focus
• Business and market knowledge
• Demonstrated record of scientific/medical publication (preferred)
