About the role As a Scientist in Haematology and Blood Bank, you’ll be part of a dynamic, collaborative team using advanced technologies to deliver high-quality results. Your work will include performing diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and contributing to innovations in laboratory practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated scientist to develop expertise in a critical area of pathology, with access to mentorship and ongoing professional development. The role is 24/7 roster with oncall once fully trained. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: Majors in Haematology and/or Transfusion required Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience A strong commitment to high quality care The ability to work as part of a diverse team Excellent communication and organisational skills Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
